| It was an honor for me to have a small part in the 2009 Iditarod through the Black Diamond Sled Dog team. I was privileged to be chosen to paint an image of the team on Kurt Reich's dog sled trailer. |

| I conducted a "Sled dog photo shoot" at the Black Diamond training facility. I used the references of Kurt's dogs to make the image representative of each unique dog and their individual personalities. |
